We made it through the Blizzard of 2018. Almost 36 hours without constant power. So thankful for the small spurts of power that speckled the last two days. We learned so many things and realized we were not prepared at all... except for the amount of wood Keil had prepared for the wood stove. That is the only thing that keep us warm. Some of our friends weren’t so lucky. They ended up with cars stuck in 6ft snow drifts, accidents, cattle missing, and freezing temps in their homes.

Today's the day!! We are finally to a point where we can move stuff in! It's been a very long, but rewarding, 4 months. Friends came by this morning ready to help us with the heavy lifting. We were able to get the couch, front loaders, bed, safe, dressers, etc. over so we can finally have a warm place to sleep!
This article makes me laugh. For the last several years Chappell sends out letters warning it's residents that the arsenic levels in Chappell are above the state standard. So glad we are moving to a place that we can finally drink the water!
