 | Well, wouldn't you know it, it stormed like crazy right after the city dug a huge trench in our front yard. So on Sunday morning we went to the house so we (really mostly Keil) could secure the water line, fill in the concrete around the new pipe, and also pour in concrete to strengthen the foundation that they dug under. Which meant, me mixing the concrete in a wheelbarrow, and handing it down to him in the muddy pit. He placed quite a few cinder blocks in the pit to give him something to stand on but they ended up sinking. Luckily he didn't lose his boots! LOL! |
After we tackled that, we had some left over concrete, so we went around the house and filled in some of the larger cracks. We build little "dams" to hold in the concrete so it would set in the cracks instead of oooozing out. That's when we decided to leave our initials! He always has such sweet ideas! I love that man!
