After work tonight I started on the fun task of removing all the tack strips, nails, and staples from the carpet. It definitely makes me never want carpet again. I can’t believe how much sand is left behind even after we removed all the carpet. At one point I found myself just staring at the living room floor wondering who in the world thought it was a good idea to damage it so badly. I am hoping that we can get it back to looking nice again.
