Roofing Day 1

I am SO sorry it's been so long since we've posted. It's been a heck-of-a two weeks. Major car troubles, bad weather, working long hours of overtime, people flaking, etc. So on a happier note, here is what we have been up to...

Friday we started the roof repairs. Each of the photos has a caption to fill you in on what is happening.

After a couple of trips we remembered we had a wheelbarrow - that made it much easier!

Chimney gone.

That's about half of the bricks we took down.

Convinced Keil to take a break.

Got the underlayment down for the exposed areas.

Exhausted!

But enjoying the sunset from the roof.
