So needless to say, we got ready in a hurry and raced down the Lodgepole to see if there was any damage. Thankfully everything we did the day before held. YAY! So now we better get to work.
Our friend, Rod, showed up to help - and boy he was a God send! We all got on the roof - in 20-30 mph winds and I went back to my job of removing all the nails and checking for rotted wood. The demo definitely went a lot faster today since both Rod and Keil are forces to be reckoned with.
After the rest of the demo was done and Keil was finishing securing the underlayment on the roof, I got the job of cleaning up all the piles and finding all the stray nails.
About 8:00 PM we stumbled in to Burgie’s to have something to eat and then went home and crashed. Hoping to get a good nights sleep for starting the shingles the next day (Sunday).
