1974 was a good year for Water Heaters. That is how old the one that came with the house was. Unfortunately 44 years was all it could take. So this week we got to shop for and install a new water heater.
This job was not for the weak. Thankfully we had some very knowledgeable people helping to make sure it got installed properly and safely. There were height issues, ground issues, water line issues, piping issues, and the list goes on. On a good note though, we got the one that was big enough if we wanted to add on to the house later on down the road. But not too big that it was wasteful. Keil is pretty excited about not running out of hot water any more, and the amount of sludge at the bottom of the old one is all gone.
